Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us when you use AppMake.
1The service
AppMake is self-serve software: you pick a ready-made design, fill in your details, and publish your own website and Android app. It is a subscription for small businesses; we provide the software and a web address, and you do the building and publishing yourself.
Features that are not ready yet are marked “Coming soon” on the pricing page. We only charge for features that work today.
2Your account
You sign in with Google, Kakao or Naver. One person can make several sites.
Do not share your account or hand it over to someone else. You are responsible for what is done with it.
3Plans, prices and billing
Plans and prices are on the pricing page. The price you see depends on your region; the final price and tax are shown on the payment page.
Paid plans are billed every 3 months (the first payment covers 3 months) or yearly (a year for the price of 10 months). Subscriptions renew automatically with the same payment method until you cancel.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders.
4Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel any time before the next renewal. You keep the paid plan until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.
First payments for web plans can be refunded in full within 14 days. The app add-on can be refunded within 14 days only until you first download the app files or signing key. Renewal payments are not refunded. Details are in the Refund Policy.
5The free plan
Each person can have one free web address. You can make, save and preview as many sites as you like.
A free site can show up to 3,000 page views a month (2× in the first month). Above 1.5× that limit, the site shows only its name, phone and address until the next month or until you upgrade.
A free site with no sign-in for 90 days and few visits is put to sleep (we email you first). Your content stays and the site wakes up when you sign in.
Paid sites have no view limit and are never put to sleep.
6Your content
You are responsible for the names, prices, photos and text you publish.
Do not publish adult content, pirated material, gambling, or anything that imitates a bank, card company, courier, government office, large company or someone else’s brand. Scams and illegal sites are not allowed.
If content breaks these rules we will tell you and may stop showing it.
7Reports and takedowns
Anyone can report a site with the “Report” link at the bottom of every site. Free sites with reports from three different people are closed until we check them; we reopen them if the reports were wrong.
Requests from courts, regulators and police are handled through the proper process and kept on record.
Reports and legal requests: abuse@appmake.app
Support (account, billing, anything else): support@appmake.app
8Sample photos and text
Sample photos and text in the builder are examples and are labeled “Sample photo”. We recommend replacing them with your own. You are responsible for samples you leave on your published site.
9Push messages
You are the sender of push messages from your app. Promotional messages go only to customers who opted in, and are marked as ads.
How many you can send each month depends on your plan (currently 30 on app plans).
10Your customers’ data
You own your customers’ data; we process it on your behalf, only for the service you asked for, with the safeguards in our Privacy Policy. We only pass it on to the processors listed there, and we delete it when our contract ends.
11App store accounts
You open your own Google Play (and later Apple) developer account, pay its fees directly to the store, and publish your app yourself with our step-by-step guide. Apps you publish stay in the store after you leave.
12Changes
If prices or what is included change, we tell you 30 days before the change takes effect.
13Liability and disputes
We are not liable for losses caused by outages that are not our fault (network or cloud provider outages, natural disasters and similar).
If there is a dispute, please talk to us first. Court proceedings follow the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
